CASA AVIV

This short-term rental sets the bar high for vacation rental homes. Casa Aviv was built and designed by CO-Lab in 2021. Casa Aviv is a 3,606 sqft sustainable minimal masterpiece that sleeps up to 10 people with its four bedrooms and baths. This minimal masterpiece effortlessly connects the indoors with its outdoors, creating a peaceful haven in the midst of the jungle. You can find this vacation home not too far from Tulum’s beach and the crystalline cenotes—the region’s natural sinkholes.

The ascetic interiors provide this Wabi-sabian vibe with local materials, garden views, and sustainable structure.

The dining area is shared among the leisure space facing a garden view. Accommodated by a floor-to-ceiling window within a double-height structure, the dining area flows freely with a majestic atmosphere.

On the opposite side, the leisure space is complemented by an overflow pool merging with its jungle surroundings.

The sustainable elements of Casa Aviv evocatively channel the natural beauty of the Yucatan without sacrificing functionality or sophistication. From the muted color palette of warm grey polished cement walls and black terrazzo to the custom built-in furnishings is a paradigm of simplicity at its finest. The Charred cedarwood adds texture and warmth throughout the space as it compliments the warm greys. Many items were hand-crafted by local artisans, locally sourced, and contain natural materials that CO-LAB custom-designed for the project.
